ISO 17712 standard seals - what are they?

The security devices collected in this collection are united by the fact that they are certified to a high level of security, which is indicated precisely by the letters ISO (International Organization for Standardization). This is an international organization that prepares quality standards for products in various fields. In turn, the numbering on the packaging of seals refers to a specific standard. Sometimes, to a series of numbers, a marker of the year in which the standard was approved is also added. The current one has been in effect since 2013, so sometimes in product descriptions you may encounter the designation 17712: 2013.

The standard that the products in our range meet indicates that they are approved for international use. They are suitable for, among other things, containers, wagons, trailers and packages transported by mail and courier companies.
ISO 17712 seals offer

Among the products available in our online store that meet the highest safety requirements are CalbeSteal CS-K cable models. They consist of a housing made of die-cast aluminum or ABS plastic, as well as a braided cable. The cable, depending on the model, can be made of stainless steel or nylon. Exemplars of the CS-K are available in several different sizes with 3.5mm and 5mm cable diameters, among others. They are sold in packs of 10 or 100.

We also have BoltSeal container models. They consist of metal parts covered with ABS plastic. They have a laser-burned number and high resistance to tearing.
